Carroll Tower
Carroll Tower is an elderly-only public housing development located near the Capital building on Smith Street in Providence.
Amenities:
- Community Room and dining room available from 7 am – 10 pm (room may be rented for up to 3 hours for a fee)
- TV Room available from 7 am – 10 pm
- Gym open from 8 am – 7 pm
- Library open from 8 am – 7 pm
- Computer lab
- Kitchen available to rent
- Handicapped Restroom on ground level
- Laundry Room open from 7 am – 11:30 pm
- Vending machines and payphone on ground level
- RIPTA bus stop in front of development
- Located near Dunkin Donuts, the State House, Roger Williams Hospital, churches and stores
- Meal site – serving lunch at 11:30 am Monday – Friday
- Resident Services Coordinator available on site Mondays and Fridays
It is important to note that this site does have security staff and the Providence Police Department assigns a special security force to patrol all PHA developments.
